  If you are man of faith, the temptation of #10 of the 10 commandments are hard to resist, I have sinned a lot over the years due to this site. 

 

For you lazy, low information, or don't care people, #10 is don't covet your neighbors <fill in the blank>.  And if you still need a little help, Webster says covet = yearn to possess or have something.

 

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

 

 

The way I see it, if I like something my neighbor has, it is not a sin if I go out, work for and earn one for my self.  Then I own one and therefore I would not covet his.

So buying things takes one away from the sin of covet.

I saw one of them last week...they look nice. But I needed a bolt carrier group for one of my ARs...being an adult sucks sometimes.

I honestly don't see a group allegedly that large having the balls for spontaneous violence and attacks, and if so, there are plenty of people willing to quell their "interest".
