not sure if I follow your headline, but if you mean a rock island armory I think Academy carries them and from time to time Guns n Archery in Clarksville has some.

I have not seen their new model .380acp in person yet-In fact I don't actually know when they are supposed to become available.I would like to see one in person-I think a little heavy for a mini 1911 but the gun rags make them sound interesting.Right now I think the Browning model is probably the closest thing.

My son thought they were cool. I am almost wondering if a 9mm might be better choice. At least considering the cost of .380 ammo. Maybe I can find some in person to look at. He is. 11 so wieght wont be an issue since it wont be an Edc. He really likes the 1911 and he appreciates the history behind them.


But at the end of the day I want to get him what he really wants.
