might want to also contact James at xdman.com.  He is the resident XD gunsmith expert over on the XDTalk forums.  He does all sorts of work on these family of pistols.  He is in Alabama, though, but with all the rave reviews he has received for his work, you should not worry about sending your parts to him.  He did my night sight install and I am very happy.

We're in Powell (Claxton, technically) and do both Duracoat or Cerakote in-house. We're happy to discuss options on either with you and go over what you'll be doing with the firearm to make sure we choose the coating, color, and whether a clear coat is necessary.

Our gunsmith is also happy to go over any questions/concerns you have while you're here in the store as well.

No worries with Amendment 2. 'I gave him my whole gun. Lots of folks will vouch for him.

Gave home my whole gun too. He has also done multiple rifles for a friend of mine. Great guy to work with.
