Amy Schumer/Chuck Schumer

The only reason Cat Ballou was any good was Lee Marvin and his drunken horse. Hanoi Jane wasn't never more then a 2 bit actress living off her father's name.

Nonetheless, the point remains,  if you avoid the flick because of Jane, look what you missed.

And I'd disagree about her acting ability ... see my list above.

And while certainly all Academy Awards are fraught with debate, her two wins were certainly as deserved as any of the other nominees those years. Her portrayal of Bree in Klute was really something, and certainly no slouch as Sally in Coming Home.

Something wrong with you if you don't like Cat Ballou. ;)

Just looking at quick filmography, I have very much enjoyed that and:

They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

Klute

Julia

Coming Home

The China Syndrome

The Electric Horseman

Nine To Five

The China Syndrome

On Golden Pond

The Morning After

Agnes of God

That's alone from her repertoire is quite a body of fine flicks, not to mention of course this pinnacle of cerebral artistry :) :

Just not my type of movies. Now here dad Henry stared in the all time best western movie ever, "Once Upon A Time In The West".  :)

Well, also be sure not to watch any action movies with or made by:

Jeremy Renner

Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon Series, 16 Blocks, etc)

Matt Damon

George Clooney

Kevin Costner

Uma Thurman

Mark Walhberg

Kevin Bacon

Sean Connery

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Sylvester Stallone

Liam Neeson

etc

Arguably the best western flick ever.

To each his own. I don't feel I missed anything. I really liked Cat Ballou, I saw it before I went in the Army and went to Nam. Sorry, but I just can't stand to look at her and promised myself never to see any movie she is in. I never saw Coming Home, to put Hanoi Jane in a movie about Viet Nam vets is the biggest slap in the face anyone can give a person that served in Viet Nam. She was the darling of the war protesters, no one made her go to Hanoi and mug for the pictures on that AA gun.

If you think she is a great actress, that's your opinion. I think she is a piece of :poop:. Just my :2cents: .

She can be both. That's what I mean by separating the art from the artist.

See my further list above. I can enjoy their movies, but wouldn't necessarily deign to have a beer with any particular one of them.

I don't watch some movies "just because" Jane Fonda is in it, I just have my own style of movies. I like Dolly Parton well enough but don't watch her movies either because they aren't my type.  Jim Carry is one that I really can't stand and that was before he went on his rant about gun owners but when he did that just sealed the deal. I said before I like the movie Hunt For Red October even though it had Alec Baldwin in it, i'll still watch it.

You have a few on that list I won't waste money on because their hypocrites. But, none compare to the traitor Lady Jane except maybe John Kerry.

So I guess I'm supposed to know who Amy Schumer is?

I don't, and I don't care. :snore:

She looks to have a nice rack. Unfortunately...it is accompanied by her mouth.

I'd still rather dig him up than pick from the current crop.

If trump gets it he is either going to be the best thing since George Washinton or he will make Carter and Obama look like the best thing that ever happened to this country. He won't be anywhere in the middle.

OK folks here goes my 2 cents worth.  My son and his wife took me and my wife to see the movie "TRAIN RECK".....well if you seen it then you know what a piece of s**t it is. My son said dad I hear it's a great comedy and I said fine well it was ONE BIG PORNO flick. I was embarrassed and disgusted and so was my son and his wife.  After the incident of the shooting we all said the same thing . I think the movie just blew this mans already sick mind apart and he went off the deep end.  Maybe the NEW generation likes this stuff but it made us all sick.  If I want to watch a porno I'll do it in the privacy of my bed room not in a theater with 200 people.  I really think this movie set off this man.  It was the worst movie I've ever seen that was so vulgar.

Sean Penn is the one I can't get past separating artist from politics. His antics have left me to the point that I can't even stand to look at him.

He may make the best movie ever, but I couldn't stomach spending two hours looking at his face.
