Vacation turned south then back up

My family finally convinced me to go to Florida with them.  The beach is great and so is the view from the condo, will post photos later.  Leaving to go return a SSD at best buy, I was re ended at the traffic light.  Not a huge deal since its life.  But the amount of damage that was done to the other vehicle was rather impressive.  Now what gets me is people stupid curiosity.  We moved to the side of the road on the intersection to wait for the police to arrive and file a report.  And next thing you know, a rubber necker gets rear ended. So we had to wait even longer to file the report and get everything squared away.  For being the first accident that I was in the vehicle when it happened, it was so bad.  I was more concerned for the other driver since I am pretty sure his car is totaled.  The expedition has a dent on the bumper and a small tear in it.  But the car is fully drivable and now I get to enjoy the rest of the week.  If it happened in my Miata, I probably would have not kept my cool as much.

Yeah, it always amazed me how boats down there come from the factory with a bunch of good looking women on them. Well, they do come with the boat, don't they? :pleased:

One of Dad's friends is a UF graduate in engineering. After his first year, he decided to take a couple general Ed classes during the summer to lighten the load and be able to concentrate on his engineering classes during the regular semesters.

He said the girls would come to class straight off the beach, bikini's on under their shirts and smelling of coco butter.

He said it was a good thing the classes were really easy, because he had no idea what the professors said during class. And he took classes every summer after that, whether he needed them or not. :D

Shit, after this week on the beach, I might just want to cancel my transfer to WKU.

The view is nice, but I guess I have been too acclimated to Tennessee now. I miss home.

Grew up in Orlando, hit new Smyrna or Daytona every weekend I wasn't working. Moved to Knoxville in '94. Florida is a great place to visit, but Tennessee is home!
