Zev Technologies Race Connector v4 opinions

I just received one of these connectors to put in my Glock 19 along with a NY1 trigger spring. I am currently using it for EDC along with IDPA. I had reservations about putting an aftermarket connector into an EDC weapon and I have to say I believe it was warranted.

I installed the connector along with the NY1 spring and while the trigger pull actually seemed as heavy if not heavier than stock it was pretty smooth all the way through. I'm sure the heaviness was due to the NY1 spring. I believe it would feel really nice with a standard trigger spring. The problem came when I did a reset test.....it didn't reset. I pulled it back apart and made sure I had it in correctly which I did. I then got online and did some searching. While Zev tech doesn't mention any fitting needed on there site it seems that you may have to do some bending on it. That seems kind of counterproductive on a piece like that.

I will be getting a Glock 34 at some point this year so I am just going to leave the internals alone on this one. May polish it up a bit.

Does anyone else have any experience with these? I may attempt to install one in the future on a non EDC gun.

I might just take you up on that. I was hoping to get my hands on one before buying.
