Since I didn't make too much mention here is what I picked up at Royal Range before I came to Shonasty's. I got the gun not the nice leather couch.

And you didn't bring it in?!?!

I'll see if i can find a place near me to host a shoot but I doubt anyone would come because it would in BFE.

BFE is the best place to shoot.

I wanted coffee but it was just too dern hot in there.

It's never too hot for coffee.....when you're a real man.

I'm not up to date on open carrying a long gun. I think it would have scared a few of the customers to death.

You just gotta own it man. If you look natural, nobody will question it :D

"Look at that dude with the shotgun! He's legit!"

Well at this point I'm not sure if the mohawk or the openly carried shotgun would cause the heart failures.

Maybe, maybe not but I sure can't deal with iced coffee...yuck. Of course the British Empire was built upon hot tea as it hydrated the person drinking it in hot and dry as well as hot and humid climates. But once it's past the breakfast coffee time I'm all about the iced tea!
Sorry I missed the M&G, had to pull a midnight shift last night, hope another M&G comes around that I can attend.

I know somebody over at the SRHEC range, I'll see if I can get in touch with him to see what it'd cost to rent that range on the far left out there.

Would everyone be willing to pony up some money for something like that?

Yes, I don't know where that is, but yes

Only one button; the chaos button. :tinfoil:

but the mechanics of that button must work in an organized manner to create the anarchy.

It's just south of Long Hunter State Park on Hobson Pike (aka South Mt. Juliet Rd.) between Mt. Juliet and Antioch.

Just dawned on me what those initials stood for. I'd just wonder how much supervision they would require over there. Not bad mouthing the place or anything because they do try to keep you safe but I don't know that i'd enjoy a day of someone standing over us the whole time. Be worth a shot though if you know a guy. Doesn't seem like that side is ever in use when I go.

I really doubt a state run range will allow anyone to shoot there unsupervised.  That end of the range is rarely used.

Maybe someone who is a member at Gallatin gun club can help set something up. I'm on the waiting list but I have another couple of years haha. Not sure what there policy is on something like that but the rifle range and trap area looked really nice.

I don't know how it is at GGC, but at Strategic Edge, anyone bringing a guest is not supposed to be shooting while their guest is shooting.  That may be ok as I am not sure how much room there is and if everyone could shoot at once anyway.

Private land is the best option, but I think that is a lot of liability for someone.  Even if I had the space I probably wouldn't offer it unfortunately.

I don't disagree with you. Anything can happen but that's what the ranges have insurance for.
