Traffic lights out on Harding. Awesome. 20 mins, 2 blocks.

'Course, I guess it's better than taking one in the tailpipe, right KM?

You got that right.  Not much damage to me but his explorer was not drivable.  Sorry I missed the get together.

Pretty good turnout tonight.

Perhaps in the future we should set a timer and after X amount of time we play musical chairs so we can meet everyone. Kinda felt bad about shaking hands with people I didn't talk too all evening and saying "nice to meet ya".

FYI, if you were on my side of the room, I'm the guy who told the "my brother-in-law bought an off road segway" story.

Yeah I felt the same way. Which is why we need to follow up with a range day!

Think the range will turn off the AC and feed us country fried steak by the truckload?

That country steak wasn't half bad with a bunch of gravy on it.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing on the way out the door. I only got to talk to half the people there. I also felt bad about that.

Silver lining: at least I didn't have to listen to Ted rant about anarchy all night. LOL just kidding, buddy. I swear. Just had had to say that, since you wore the tshirt and all.

kind of ironic...you put organized thought into your choice to wear a shirt that has a symbol of chaos and disorder

kudos...you're coming around

But that's not what anarchy means.

Good to meet many of you as well, and to shake hands with some of you I didn't get the chance to meet.

As for meeting more people next go round, someone needs to Mad Hatter it up.

Well, some great minarchist books (minimal government) are written by F.A. Hayek, like "The Constitution of Liberty". There is a book call "Anarchism" by Woodcock that highlights anarchy as a movement and philosophy in it's earlier days, but I don't recommend it unless you have an exhaustingly open mind and are fine with reading highly scholar books or discourses. Plus, it doesn't get onto ideas like Voluntaryism, Agorism, Anarcho Capitalism or Market Anarchism since all of those ideas post date the book; it focuses on important Anarchist thinkers, libertarian communism, libertarian socialism, individualist anarchism (like philisophical chaos), Mutualism, and Anarcho Syndacalism. Some of those ideas are just way too dated or out there for the me to recommend that book to the average reader, but it's still fantastic in its own way.

Off topic question for chucktshoes and/or Ted S., please tell me the FIRST must read book for an individual who might be interested in learning more about anarchist principles. Gracias.
