Thank you for posting this.  I always wanted to get into something like this but never felt comfortable making the attempt.  Seeing the course layout tells me much.  How do you keep straight where the hell to go next?  I'd be like that kid back in school playing kickball who ran to third base instead of first.

Make sure you get with one of us that run the show at the range. We can walk you through the course. Basics in USPSA is we give you a group of targets and an area to engage them from. It is up to the shooter on how to engage them. A Seasoned shooter can show you how it is done. On standards drills, engagement is a bit easier. Don't worry, we will let you watch someone first.

We still run past things and the wrong ways many times.

Caster, trust me you will have a blast. Everyone there will encourage you and cheer you on. If you run to third base that's fine, I'm sure one or two of us will run to 2nd.

Great, warm day on the range. Thanks Chandler, Chris and Remo picking up the time and nook for a bit. Great squad to be a part of today.

Yes, great time and squad. Chris, thanks for the advice. Michael, were you happy to see me or was that a pocket full of white pasties?

Was fun. Those turtle targets and no shoots sucked.

Yes it was.  First time using them type of targets.  They were completely different than we are used to shooting at.
