Old Speer Bullet Board.

Haven't thought about this much, my mom bought it at a yard sale for me over 15 years ago for $5. It's a 1969 Speer bullet display board, the Wells and Fargo Stagecoach edition. I've seen a few around of different editions, some just stamp metal. I found a Speer website and this edition had only 2000 made, it's missing a .308 200gr bullet, looks like someone tried to glue it back with Elmers or some weak glue and some bullets have some corrosion spots but it's still pretty cool. Never new it was that cool although i have always liked it.

As to the missing bullet? What do you bet the previous owner shot 200g'ers and dropped ONE bullet, it rolled under the bench never to be found again most of us who load are a bit OCD. No way a man can load 19, 49 or 99 rounds. You just cannot do it. He probably saw that one piece of lonely brass laying there and the temptation was just too much.

So you're saying that bullet is probably buried in an oak tree somewhere for over 30 years?

Maybe, or it could be part of a busted elk scapula. Possibilities are endless. ;)

Ahh, so it's somewhere in Wyoming.
