G.F.L marked 9mm brass crap?

Recommended Posts

Easing my way into reloading, and after cleaning up a decent amount of brass, some of it is G.F.L marked (Fiocci I guess) and found that quite a bit of the primer holes are off center. Anyone else notice this? I'm sure the brass will still work, but I have some F.C. and WIN marked brass, and haven't seen one off centered primer hole in any of those pieces.

You mean the flash hole that the flash travels through to ignite the powder and not the primer pocket where the primer sits, correct?

If so, load it up and fire away.

You may find the primer pockets a bit tight with Federal primers. CCI primers will solve that problem.

The primer pockets are tight with Tula primers as well. I've reloaded them...but they are not my preference in brass.

I've found that a quick twist with a deburring tool allows even the Tula primers to seat easily though.
