Does anybody know who has the cheapest 223 in the smyrna area? I'm in class right now(shooting when I'm done) and wanna try saving a bit of money with out driving all around to price match.

Wal-Mart is almost always the cheapest, but the inventory is hit and miss.

It's not Smyrna, but when I stopped at the new Royal Range in Bellevue, they were loaded up with just about everything and the prices were quite good on most ammo.

Found a box of 100 at the smyrna walmart. 40 bucks for federal.

That's good brass case ammo. I assume that was $34.97 + tax (what it shows on the web), that's a pretty good price.

It's just that the Federal bulk is probably the puniest .223 you can find. Weaker than any of the Russian steel stuff.

But does seem quite consistent shot to shot, which is probably the more important attribute.

It was 39.99 before tax. It worked for my needs. I've been wanting to put some rounds through my ACR before I went into a state of depression.

For range ammo, Royal Range in Bellevue has managed to undercut Walmart by a few cents AND it's piled waist deep.  They probably have more than any three walmarts put together.

I'm looking for the cheapest 300 Blk super in the area?

Academy in Mt. Juliet has the Remington 120 grain stuff in stock last time I checked for like $15. Doubt you find it anywhere else cheaper.

Once you get done there go across the road to the Realoder's Bench and let them sell you a press, some dies, powder, bullets, brass, etc.  Well maybe that won't be the cheapest way but you'll get to pull the trigger more.

well... all academy had was the 220 grain so went across the street and found 120 UMC for $16 a box at wal-mart

Yeah I saw that they had the 220 also. I'm surprised though. They had 20 or more boxes of the UMC last time I looked. They must be getting it in quickly. There for a while all they had was the Hog Hammer stuff.

Cool that Walmart had it though.

Glad you found some. I was itching to shoot more of mine but I'm gonna wait until I get the stock on it and can really stretch it out there. I am curious to see how it shoots at 200.
