Interesting that CNN/FOX are still holding off mentioning identity of the shooter. Guess they don't feel it's reliable info yet. But MSNBC is saying it's so, opining he's naturalized citizen from Kuwait.

Foxnews just mentioned that they are working with a name that would be consistant with domestic terrorism.  Also that ISIS was celebrating the attack in Chattanooga on the internet.  Also Foxnews is saying that it is highly unusual that the FBI would take over the case so quickly and bring to bear so many assets so quickly.  They theorize that there may be a network operating in the area.

I doubt we need to worry about that.  I'd say the guard force at Watts Bar and Oak Ridge and other nuclear installations is on high alert.  There will be no 80 year old nuns sneaking into those installations and vandalizing them with red paint.  LOL!!!

I guess they can theorize what they want, but would seem to me anytime a federal agency is shot up, the FBI would be there toot sweet regardless and take jurisdiction.

Actually, that's what I thought too.  This particular reporter is from the DOJ, I think and she has said the same thing several times over the course of the day.

Well, so far its a "Big Black Gun" that can shoot more than 10-20 rounds per mag so time to go out and duracoat all your ARs some other color and stock up on 30 round mags.

CNN is also identifying the gunman as Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez aged 24 or 25.

Tip of the iceberg fellows, I'm sure more will talk up trying and get caught but some will find a way to act out and kill people. What I'm kind of hoping is one of these terrorist(s) try this where a bunch of folks are legally carrying concealed weapons. If said folks have a modicum of training and grit things would be interesting.

Foxnews just showed a brief aerial view of the Naval Operations Center and there at least two bodies dressed in camouflage uniforms laying on the ground in a motor pool.  They just are also showing the car.  Looks like the gunman crashed it though the front gate.  They are saying he sprayed the building with automatic weapons fires (Foxnews words not mine).
