Regal Range

Recommended Posts

They have a floor plan posted by the front door. They'll have a 60 yard range with 10 or 11 lanes rated up to .50, a range with 180 degree firing lines for training, a classroom with the theater seating, a range with shorter lanes (15-20 yds IIRC), an archery range, and a room for force-on-force with simmunitions. That last one has me intrigued for sure. I've never done it and have always thought it would be (1 ) a great way to train and (2 ) just plain fun.

Did I mention that they have a semi-auto Ma Deuce on a tripod in there? If you're looking for one, they have it. :usa:

I asked the price on the .50 BMG.  I was told, sorry for rent only.  They have not worked out rental or range rates yet.

Just a thought to throw out there,

This place being so nice and ROOMY....assuming the range fees are reasonable, this might be a good place for a TGO meet up???

They're open till 8pm so they've definitely got the working crowd covered.  Shoney's is right there too, If we all hit the buffet afterward it could be the first TGO shoot and  :poop: .

Thanks for the heads up, went this morning to restock after yesterday's range time with my 14 year old son. Minimags in abundance, such a beautiful sight. Now if they could just get the range open, HOBSON PIKE REEKS! You know why if you have ever been there.

I got tagged in the chest pretty good with a 45 bounce back at Gun City years ago. I thought I was a goner, lol! No blood, but a good welt for about a week. Dude next to me had just let me shoot his sweet Ed Brown. I went back to my lane, he picked up his next mag, and then... OW!!!

Gun City was the first place I ever fired a handgun. Terry, the one-armed Veteran working there taught me how to take down and put together my Sigma (go ahead, judge me) and the basics of sight alignment and trigger control. He was a great guy, and I always look back on his kindness towards me as a newbie with thankfulness. Though the place is pretty rough, I learned how to shoot there and I was treated well by Jack and Terry. I miss those days, to be honest.

When you go in, find the manager and tell him that you found out about Royal from TGO and came in to visit and spend money because of the great reviews on this site.

Even though I really dislike indoor square ranges, I can't wait till their range is open - really miss being able to drive 5 minutes down the road and shoot, hope they have a good annual membership rate.

60 yard range and force on force sounds great.

Will have to go in soon and check them out.
