US Military moving to 9mm JHP?!

Maybe they are thinking about going to the to JHP because they purchased about a billion of them back several years ago in that big ammo buy up of Hollow points and now figured out what they bought them for ain't gonna happen so now to save Military spending they will use stuff they already have................jmho

They already have 17rd mags in their M9s. Only thing higher that I am aware of is the XDM9 at 19rounds and the FN 5.7 at 20 rounds.

 

Aren't GI contract ones still just 15, like standard factory mags?

I don't know to be honest. Anyways, 15 vs 17-19 isn't that big of a deal considering it is a backup weapon and rarely used outside of training.
