So they will know how much you buy and what calib<WBR>ers. Nobod<WBR>y can sell any ammun<WBR>ition<WBR> after<WBR> June 30, 2009 unles<WBR>s the ammun<WBR>ition<WBR> is coded<WBR>.

Any priva<WBR>tely held uncod<WBR>ed ammun<WBR>ition<WBR> must be destr<WBR>oyed by July 1, 2011.<WBR> (<WBR>Inclu<WBR>ding handl<WBR>oaded<WBR> ammo.

)

They will also charg<WBR>e a .

50 or more!

If they can depri<WBR>ve you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This is the same kind of Bull:poop: The People's Republic Of Kalifornia tried a few years ago when they wanted ammo manufacturers to laser etch a bar code onto each bullet and a corresponding code onto the casing it was loaded in. All a crock of :D

Unfortunately, the People's Republic of Kalifornistan did pass legislation concerning microstamping casings as they are fired out of semiautomatic firearms. Of course, such microstampings can easily be removed from any firearm, they do not imprint well on all ammunition, and it will increase the cost of firearms considerably... but the law-makers do not really care. They wanted to do "something", regardless of the efficacy or idiocy of that something.

Same thing here, different story.

Why do I think the folks behind the legislation/webpage have some financial ties to a company that just happens to make the laser-etching technology for the bullets? Same story in Kalifornistan...

The reality is these are not the ideas of idiots but smart people who figured out that they don't have to ban guns, there by risking there jobs, if they can quietly make it financially difficult for the majority of people to buy them or feed them. This is the same strategy that brought us the '34 NFA.

Bills like this get intro'd and killed every year. Only in the commie states do they stand more than a 1% chance of passing.

The NRA/etc loves them as fundraising issues.

Maybe they should make ammo manufactures place tiny GPS locators and id chips in every bullet, then in addition to being able to track every bullet, they can make all guns as in accurate as possible with the chip causing it to tumble in flight .... then noone can kill anyone
