I sold an old historic home built in 1910, located near Shreveport LA and purchased land in the Honey Creek part of Fentress County.   I enjoy the rural peace and quiet and it is also nice to be able to sight in a pistol in your back yard...something I had to drive more than 30 miles to do in Louisiana.  Our property borders the Big South Fork National Recreation Area and our neighbor to the west has a huge pasture and has designated several places where I can shoot in as well as inviting me to his family's gun range several miles down the road.  I also hope to start hunting and continue to acquire survival skills.  I enjoy riding bicycles, hiking, kayaking, and camping [with whatever I can either carry on my back or haul behind my bicycle].
