Need suggestion for good Tranny shop..

I think my transmission is going but don't know of any good tranny shops in the Chattanooga/N. GA area. I had some work done at Cottman's on Lee HWY but they appear to have gone out of business.

I don't know what you drive, but have you checked some of the car or off road forums? You can probably find a recommended repair shop in your area. Strickj might have a suggestion, I think he's around your area.

yea...this isn't THAT kind of forum...besides I think you have to go out of the country to have that work done

I used to know the people in nearly every shop in Chatt when I worked at Napa,and Modine/Proliance but Ive been out of that for 3+ years now and those places change techs like I change my underpants(well,that is if I wore underpants:blush:)

You might contact PriceG to see if he does Trany work.

Oh,and I though this thread would be about something else when I read the title!:D

yeah, price should be able to fix you up. He is located in ooltewah a couple miles off exit 11. give him a call tomorrow (423) 238-2828.

there's even a gun shop attached to it
