FFL in Nashville Area?

Recommended Posts

Anybody know any reasonably priced FFL dealers that are in the Nashville Metro area?  Maybe someone (member hopefully) or store that they have used before that was a decent price.

A buddy of mine and I went to Franklin Gun Shop today.  It had been a long time since I had been in there.  After looking at their prices, I can only assume that their FFL transfer fee is as high as their prices.

Any info would be great!  Thanks in advance!

I've had success using Nashville Gun & Knife and Everything Weapons recently for FFL transfers.  Neither were unreasonably priced.

Just tried out Goodlettsville Gun Shop and they were nice, fast and did the whole background and transfer for $35.

I've had really good luck with Bellshire Hardware.  After dealing with them once, you are in their computer.....I can call ahead and it's all ready when I get there.  Great customer service.  Much of their business if FFL transfers, though they are of the very few independent hardware stores left in metro Nashville.  There are usually several folks hanging out.

Plus, there is an awesome BBQ joint in the same parking lot.

Yes. Phil is a good guy to deal with. And if you are interested in any of the Rock Island products, he usually has a good supply of them. Or will happily order for you.

That's the way to sell it.  Tell me there is BBQ close by. Haha

Does Bellshire or any others that you know of handle private party transactions such as Gunbroker/Armslist out of state transactions shipped from a private party without an FFL ?

The Saddle Shop in Triune will do it. I do all of my transfers there. They are good people. Edited by Hozzie

I've talked to them before, seemed very friendly, thanks for the response!

sniff sniff.... Someone mention BBQ????

Yeah, they cut it into chunks rather than pulling it - good cuts of meat and very tender. He has a big wood / charcoal grill outside where he cooks.
