Good morning,

Can anybody tell me if concealed carry is legal at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville? I am going to be attending a convention there from out of town, and would like to carry during travel - but don't want to show up there and realize that I'm going to be illegal once I get to the convention center.

Anybody have helpful info you could share with me?

Thanks in advance for the help.

This is TN forum, eh?

That said, no idea, but signs do not have the force of law in KY, meaning it is not a violation in and of itself to carry past a no guns sign, so you wouldn't be "illegal" for doing it. Would come down to possible trespassing situation if discovered and asked to leave.

Obviously, concealed carry would be your friend in a posted situation there.

Oh, Shoot... thank you for your gentlemanly response when you could have justifiably torched me for being an idiot. (To steal a phrase I saw somebody else use on here recently, "I have the dumb" today.   )

Yes, I obviously posted this in the incorrect forum - but thank you for your thoughtful reply anyway. (What can I say? I was researching both the states I'm driving through and the state I am arriving at - and I posted to a forum in the wrong one.)

Having said all that - hey, at least y'all are closer to KY than I am, so maybe you are more likely to know than I am.   If anybody has any additional useful information, feel free to drop it in here - and I will gracefully accept any fully deserved razzing I get from my error.
