Ah, the wait! It's like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. Congratulations on becoming a permit holder. That is awesome. As for the wait, I'd say closer to 8-12 weeks than 3-6. Especially with the influx post election.

Don't know about wait time, but your mailman will be glad when it comes, so the curtain-peeking and stalking from the bushes will stop. You'll be one of those 'freaks' that gets all the gun-stuff. For certain, I give my mail-lady the creeps!!! When she hand-delivers gun stuff, I just grin at her real big and hurry her off the porch!!!

Wait about a month and make the call. Don't call on Friday afternoon or Monday morning. Be very polite and ask about your permit status. They will tap a few keys on a keyboard, tell you your info has been approved, and you'll have your permit in 7 to 14 days. Mine came in 7, for a total of 41 days.

Monday I'm off for the printing. Maybe we can make a small "race" of it.

Mine went in oct 15. Hope the holidays don't bog the process down
I'm hoping the recent election and people's thinking doesn't bog it down.

I just had mine renewed a couple of weeks ago and the lady at the DMV stated that due to the high volume recently that it is taking around 3 months.

My buddy was told the same thing when he renewed his.

But I figure it's good time spent looking at entries for carry not permitted signs. heh
