prices of ar 15----new to used

Msrp from colt is 1400 flat. **   The used gun tax will bit you a bit, but you should be able to get a bit over 1k for it -- more if you added anything useful like a quality scope?   As-sold, you might get 1250, 1200, at a "guess"  if you are patient, or you could probably sell it in a day or two at 1150 or so...  again, guessing here.

 

This gun could serve you as a good investment soon.  Depending on which idiots get elected .... it could easily go up into the 2500 range if you wait on another panic.   If you are not in great need of the money or space... you might be wise to hold it for a little longer?

yeah,im not selling.i was just curious of depreciation values of ar rifles. i am fairly new to the ar.I have  picked up a 6920 since i first posted.with the times a changing the last thing im thinking of is selling.its about buying and being prepared these days.thanks for your comments
