A good infomercial sales man will do that, you should see him underwater in an old truck sealed up with flex seal! Now that's impressive.

I wonder if a garage floor epoxy would work on the steel. That stuff is pretty dang durable if you prep the surface well and follow the directions. Some are made with sand mixed in (or can have sand mixed in) for added anti-slip properties.

Grab a can of "rubberized undercoating" instead. It is about 1/3 the cost of Flex Seal and appears to be identical. I have used my weight in the undercoating so I knew Flex Seal was the same product.

how about bedliner you paint on yourself? i dont know anything about the product listed below, but have been on sailboats painted with similar process. simple to do yourself, and cost right around $100/gal. for non uv stabilized.

I've been using spray bedliner in an aerosol can.  It's really good stuff....if you buy the right kind and put it on right.

I got the front wall built.  Doesn't look good.  But, I'll massage it in with enough coats of bedliner  :pleased:

 

Ya'll were making jokes but I think I might just go buy me a can of flex seal and lay a coat over the caulk after it sets; Along the edges.  Then coat the whole thing in spray bedliner.  After the whole thing is done, I'll paint the whole trailer to suit with whatever color I choose.

Got my perches made and a set of shocks under there.  This REALLY made a difference in how it pulls and rides.

Then I broke down and went to the junkyard.  Didn't want to but....

 

I found a late model ford expedition and pulled the cable winch for the spare.  Bolted it under the trailer and viola!!!
