where is skips firearms in Ooltewah???

I was on my way to CRC today and i figured i would stop by skips to check it out and see about a lower ar. I saw the sign on the door of the old shop next to the fire hall with the new address and directions. so I/we drive up the road where the directions say to go. we turned off to a side street where google maps says 10338 Lee Highway Ooltewah, TN 37363 is. either we are blind or complete idiots! neither my friend or I saw any form of a sign leading us to the new building or a sign on a building. where is skips!

Skip posted a while back that he was shutting down for a while.

He is located across from Hummer Automotive.There is no sign except for the one for Price's shop.It reads something something auto and marine methinks.

From that little side road he is on the right hand side

i went down that side road and saw 3 buildings. marine something and automotive something i think and a green building to the right behing one of the other buildings without any signage and a lack of cars around.

I guess i just go to hear-gear if he is still shut down.

He shut down temporarily but is now back open.

He is in the office of that garage in the front.It has a couple of bays or so,and is fenced in partially.

Look for all the dogs!

he didn't have much of a store front when I visited last summer. A couple guys reading the newspaper and an offer to order anything I needed. 2 ragged pistols in the cabinet and one tired rifle on the wall. It doesn't surprise me that he didn't make it. It's a tough industry, this gun business, and unless you have a lot of cash, which he apparently doesn't, you don't stand a chance.

he's across the little side street from hummer. The building should say Ooltewah Auto and Marine, and yes there will be a dog or two runnin around

The new store is about 1 mile from the old one. Lee Highway and look for David Smith Plumbing on the right. Turn just before the plumbing building to the right and go back about 300 yards. There is a banner for "Skip's" is hanging on the building now.

And no, I don't have a lot of inventory but my price can't be beat on anything I can order for you.

We also now offer the TN HCP classes.

I had heard his problems requiring shutting down a while were not finance related, but health problems related. Hope he is back in top form now. HE is a good guy.
