New Threads

All of a sudden I can't see the "Newly Posted Threads" (not sure exactly what it was called) on the right side of the home page while signed in. I've tried with both Firefox and Chrome and it suddenly disappeared part way through today.

 

I'm not sure if I autodownloaded some sort of update or it something changed in the site design but I experienced the same thing on two different browsers so I'm kinda doubting it's on my end.

 

If this was a planned change, I want to request a return. I quite enjoyed seeing the newest threads on the right side.

Same here, FireFox is what I use.

My bet it some kind of snafu with an update of software.

I'm using Firefox and the "view new content" button is still there.  Not sure if there was one called "new threads".

Same here, can't see new threads that were on the side under Facebook, etc, icons. I am currently using my iPod

Using Firefox and I can't see it.  Can't see it on my Android phone either.  I used that function a lot so I hope that it is kept.  In addition or instead though I would like to see a list that shows the most recently replied to threads.

I turned that particular feature off while performance-tuning the server.  Use the "View New Content" button at the top of the page instead for the time being.

I hope you are able to find a way to bring that feature back without significantly affecting the server. I quite like it.
