converting old surplus nvg cases to pelican boxes?

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a lot of an-paq-4c boxes from a surplus sale, and am in the process of converting them to pelican cases
They measure 10"x6"x5" and are water resistant hard boxes.
Im retrofitting the foam with new cut ur own high quality poly foam
They are lockable and very durable,
What should be my asking price if I sell them, and what kind of gun would it fit?
I think it would easily fit a subcompact, but my question is would it fot a full size glock 17?

don't think square.  A good sized gun would fit inside on the diagonal.  I would bet you I could get a 1911 in there on the diagonal, it would be close...

do not use pre-cut foam is my advice.  That stuff loses chunks one by one over time no matter how much you baby it.  Let the buyer cut their own foam.

I don't know what you paid for them but I would pay $20 for such roughly if I needed one.
