Estimated value of HK USP 9mm...

Just curious what some of you HK pistol fans think about the value of a pistol I may trade for. The gentleman has an HK USP 9mm (full size) with factory installed Jet Funnel, Night Sights, LEM Trigger, and (3) 18rd white mags. It has some faint holster wear, about 200rds fired, and comes with a Blade Tech holster and double mag holder. Seems like from what I've seen a fair value would be $900-1000? Does that sound about right? High? Low? Thanks!

without seeing it first hand, GB sold items suggest somewhere between $650-750 range with 2 mags, box and paperwork. figure 25 cents on the dollar for other accessories. Based upon your discription, sounds like we're in the ball-park

Probably pretty close, likely on the higher end.

The white magazines are a little bit more desired in the HK community and the jet funnel is just awesome. The USP's have fallen in market value ever since the P2000's and HK45 came out. You can usually find a good deal on them. On the intermawebz expect to fork out anywhere from 650 - 800 bucks depending on condition.

On the forum (like TGO or glocktalk) they usually dont fetch much over 600 bucks as there isnt a huge demand. HK PRO more so.

Yep, thats my Tantal kit.....Getting ready to send off the order for the NDS-2T receiver with matching serial number! I'm going to order an extra receiver so I can put one kit together myself, and have a professional build the other so I have the best of both worlds...lol.

AK's are tough nuts to build. After you have that sucker riveted together you have the agony of pressing the barrel into the trunnion... and then more agony with pressing in the barrel pin. I'm not trying to discourage, i promise!

Your going to have a ball removing that barrel from the front trunnion initially!

...or are you cheating and doing a screw build?

Wasn't planning on doing a screw build, but to be honest, I haven't done all my homework yet. Thats another reason I'm going to have one professionally built, so I can enjoy it and have a quality weapon while I'm getting my education.

I understand. I built a few a few years back and they're a PIA if you dont have the equipment to crush the rivets and press the barrel in.

I believe AR15.com has a AK section that may be able to offer some sort of tutorial.

Its easy after you have the barrel pressed into the front trunnion!

Good luck! PM me with any questions and i'll be glad to assist you to the best of my ability.
