I've got a Ruger gp100 match coming to use for carry around the property. The nylon cheapies last about 25 draws. Any suggestions for a holster?

Simply Rugged Holster's are good, I like Kramer horsehide holsters, I've purchased Milt Sparks holsters and a few other makes as well. What you need to decide is are you going with leather or Kydex as either material will work for your needs.

If I've got a choice I'd like Kydex. I've used several Fobus cheapies for production division USPSA matches without doing any damage to the gun finish. But I wonder about retention.

I've used Blade Tech holsters which are built of a thicker kydex and made my own from kydex, if the holster's built right and properly molded retentions good.

... like Kramer horsehide holsters ... .

I'll second the Kramer horsehide holsters! My experience is with their Michigan State Police paddle holster. The few weeks wait time is worth it.

Sad thing about the custom leather holsters is today's prices! It wasn't that many years ago that (for example) a custom fit Kramer horsehide was $98. Just like firearms, another example of the melting dollar. : ( Edited by Djay3
