Interesting article about our best military weapons - thought this would get some interesting conversation from our military guys.  Note that a Barrett rifle is on the list.

The F-35 is one of the "Most Effective Weapons In The US Arsenal?"  Maybe they can make that claim sometime after they're put in actual use.

 

Also, I saw a lot more 60mm mortars (dismounted) and 120mm mortars (fixed position) than 81mm's in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I'm not surprised at the response from our military folks.  The author is a business journalist rather than a military guy.  I'm don't have a military background and can't really comment on the list other than to say that I'm glad that home town Barrett made the list.

I laughed at this remark about the F-22. If they're falling out of the sky then how are they a best weapon?
