Aeroshell and other greases

Recommended Posts

I'll be assembling a 5.56 barrel on an upper receiver this week for the first time. I've heard a lot of good about Aeroshell, but seems that a lot of forums and videos just use lithium grease or just grease period.

What do you guys favor?

I use this... http://www.amazon.com/Mil-Comm-TW25B-Grease-Reclosable-Syringe/dp/B000UTOVX8/ref=pd_sim_200_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0BXKKW0SGXGACCND8E0W

The syringe has a very small tip which allows you to apply a very small amount to a specific location and not waste any or have to spend time cleaning it off all the places it shouldn't be.  It works great.  One syringe should be nearly a lifetime supply.
