Any religious person or persons, Christian or otherwise, trying to sell something, especially something that is fear mongering (buy this so you can survive the end times!) does not sit well with me.

Also, putting yourself and your family first seems anti-biblical.

1 Timothy 5: 8 ESV - But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

I understand that any one verse can easily be taken out of context, but I look at it this way: Just like on a plane, when they tell you in an emergency to put on your own mask before you try to help someone else; your household is your first responsibility, and if you don't take care of yourself and your own household first, how can you have the resources to help others? I'm not saying you need to hoard away a million dollars first, but there's a healthy balance. I know you're not saying otherwise, but in my opinion you have no business helping the neighbor keep from being late on their mortgage if you own children are hungry. Conversely, it is good to sacrifice replacing your 10 year old vehicle if you can help feed a family with a single mom who lost her job.

I  think the exact same goes for larger scale as well. For example, it may be admirable to send foreign aid to an oppressed people in another country, but you shouldn't do that if the country has to borrow money to do it when doing so is risking its own economy, and ability to help in the future, in the process.

I'm not saying this to preach, because I'm sure we all feel the same way. I just felt like sometimes this kind of thing needs to be said so that we don't lose sight of what's really important. Lord knows we get enough of the opposite from our so called leaders nowadays.

Two questions...

1) Why does someone concerned with the "end of days" need money?

2) Can we just slip this into the Jade Helm thread as part of a containment protocol for all the crazy?

Not a Biblical scholar, just a recovering sinner here...my guess is having paper money in the End of Days will give you a ample supply of toilet paper.

It's advertising 101...use fear to sell your product or service...be it life insurance, lack of the newest coolest phone or your version of your religion.

Here's the YouTube link that's imbedded in page. Unlike the original URL you can hop around in it like any other vid.
