1) because the media knows that blogs like this one will spread their narrative by jumping to conclusions and false assumptions.

2) as soon as his name comes across the police scanner there are numerous reporters chomping at the bit to add to the slandering.
Just his turn like many others before him.

But I do agree that he needs to disappear, maybe move to another country.
