.22 LR rat-shot?

Local Wal-Mart had some last week.  I walked by the counter and saw CCI and 22 on the label and nearly shouted from excitement.  Then I realized it was just the shot shells instead of regular ammo.  Still, it's the first 22 in any form I've seen at Wal-Mart in over 18 months.  I know they get it in, but since I have to work for a living I can't go stand in line at 6:00 am.

I wonder what he wants it for? Colibri might be better, and easier to get, depending on what he needs it for.

Academy often has it.

The Knoxville Academy had some the last time I was in there.  It is up front, behind the counter, where they generally keep all the .22LR they get these days.  I started to buy a box then remembered that I still had a few rounds at home.  They have also had a stack of Colibri every time I have been in there for the last, couple of months.  I have the feeling that most other folks have as little interest in that as I do.

 I couldn't find you any rat shot up in your area but the Oak Ridge and Lenoir City Walmarts both show Federal AutoMatch (325 rounds) in stock if you need any of those.

 

If they're like the ones here, with the exception of one store,  they should put them out in the morning.

I wont ever shoot it out of a semi-auto again, I knew it wouldn't cycle but not all the shot exits, I actually cleaned shot out of the action. I believe it was CCI with the plastic tip, I shot it out of a Marlin model 60, loading 1 round at a time.
