Easy way to piss off the neighbors

Recommended Posts

Easy way to start a brush fire and/or burn your house or your neighbor's down.  Easy way to cause that chiminea to crack and explode.

That said, a friend does that with a steel drum when burning brush.  He cut holes in the bottom and stick the blower nozzle right up to it.  At dusk, the whole barrel glows orange/red with flames 10 ft high.  Makes quick work of wet brush.

Do that where I live and I would be going to jail. We cannot burn anything inside city limits of Gallatin.............. :2cents:

Open burning, as described in this article, may be conducted without permits provided that no public nuisance is or will be created by such burning. Fires used for cooking food, fires for ceremonial or recreational purposes, including barbecues and outdoor fireplaces, and fires set for the training and instruction of firefighters, do not need a permit. This grant of exemption shall in no way relieve a person from the consequences, damages, or claims resulting from such burning. This exception neither relieves a person from responsibility for using fire safe practices nor from obtaining a permit from any other agency that may require such.
