I have been looking at the PM2 in digital camo, satin blade for awhile. They have what I think is a great deal on Amazon $102 including tax. Should I be worried about fakes on Amazon? Quick replies are appreciated as I would like to get it ordered this evening.

I think Amazon stands behind the products they sell direct. If you found you had a fake I’m sure they would make it right. I don’t know about the ones sold on the Amazon site by other vendors.

I've bought probably 20 Spydercos alone from Amazon, including a PM2.  I collect Spyderco, and know how to spot fakes.  All the ones sold direct by Amazon are the real deal.  Enjoy your PM2!

I have bought a bunch of knives on Amazon. Several ZT's. They were all authentic. They were also cheaper than I could find anywhere else. The Para 2 is listed for $119 at Blade HQ. That sounds about right.

Go for it. I've bought a few Spyderco's off amazon with no issues. Good choice on a blade but somewhat bigger than I prefer for an EDC (yes I'm a minority in that opinion)

The PM2 is a great knife. Lots of folks like it, including me.  It's not too big for me. I even carry the Military sometimes.

I've had a gun and automatic knife in my pocket since the date auto knives became legal in TN but next week I have to fly to PA.  No knife or gun for a few days! :rant:

Received the Para 2 yesterday. All I can say is wow, never seen anything so sharp out of the box. Fit and finish are superb, nice light weight. This will definitely replace my Entourage as my EDC. This is my first Spyderco but definitely not the last!

The Para 2 probably fits my hand better than any of my other Spydercos. When I got mine, there was a pretty long wait. I also have the Military in the same finish (Camo/satin). Highly recommend that one too if you like bigger knives too.

 

So far, my Protechs have been real sharp out of the box too.
