I've got an A-100 chambered in .45. There's no aftermarket for them, but I love the gun.

For a laser, you might be able to see if it was a copy of something else. My A-100 is a copy of a P220.

Sorry! Despite my name, I know very little about Astra's in general. The only one I know about is the model 900. Mine was made in 1923, but that don't help you for s][it does it?

My 2 cents. Astra went broke about 15 years ago and merged what few pieces of itself it had left with Star in an attempt to remain something it could no longer be... the 80 is a rip-off of a Sig226, though I doubt the Astra people were smart enough to copy the exact diamentions.

Sad. Astra was a great company until about 1970. After that, they began bit by bit to flush themselves down the drain...

Precious little is a direct bolt-on. Something like a laser, though, might be workable. At least for my model.

Magazines, for example, are not interchangeable.

Astra & Star were both quite viable until European labor laws came into the picture. Lawsuit settlements gave ownership to the employees and their union. We see what happened.

As for the intelligence of the folks at Astra, where are all the pistols marked with your name on retail shelves?
