Already hot as balls (85 degrees, at least!) in here and it's only 10 am. Air conditioned my butt!! Edited by BigK

Do like the old duffers do,borrow a wheelchair and tie off about nine long guns on it.

If I were to come... I'd probably have to do that. Bunged up my left knee almost 2 weeks ago. I can get around, but that concrete floor would kill me after about 10 minutes.

But on the upside, I could carry a few more pistols around to sell!

Yep! That's what I thought would be the case. That's a poor venue for anything, let alone a large crowd of guys on a warm day.

finally started cooling off a bit (75 degrees) around 1:30 when I left

I got there at 12:30, left at 5. Around 4 it was nice and cool in there and 1/5th of the crowd as when I got there.
Picked up some AR parts I've been needing and chatted with some friends, all in all a good show. Going back tomorrow around noon.

Farthest booth back in left corner (not on wall) is a couple out of Joplin MO, Sullivan Gun Works. Great folks, Class 3 dealer, very knowledgeable and has some nice products. Edited by rugerla1

I spoke to them too. Nice couple. Bought an LWRC Advanced Trigger Guard from them for my AR pistol. Even if it turns out to be junk, I'll be so glad to get rid of that POS that came in the LPK. Plus, it was only $6!

The guy right past them on the back wall selling Hexmags was a nice fellow too. He sold me a couple of sheets of rubberized grip tape at a small discount. I begged Talon Grips to sell me an uncut section of this stuff and they patently refused. I am glad to get my hands on this stuff. it's the only thing thin enough that isn't gritty to put on guns/mags IMO.

It was a pretty good show now that I think about it.

I talked to that guy with the hex mags for a while too. Grabbed one of his cards, he has a local warehouse, mainly a website ran company he said. I almost grabbed some of that grip tape too but said those famous words "I'll swing by on the way out" and as usual forgot what and where I meant to go!
