New Sig

I didn't plan on buying a new gun today. Nope, just got a VP9 and had no damn intention at all to buy something else. Didn't work out that way though. I'm a sucker for FDE and had the misfortune of stumbling across a new SIG 320C in full FDE. 10 minutes later I was walking out the door with it. Feels great but won't get to shoot it for a couple days.

No wife to get mad. I do have an agreement with my dog that every time I buy a new gun or gear he get a bag of his favorite treats. Man...he's getting fat.

No, pretty good pics actually. I hadn't seen the 320 beside the G19. It's closer in size than I would have thought.

I'm jealous. Handled one just like it at the NRA show and loved the trigger and feel. I'd like to sell my P250 and pick one up. If you don't mind, will you PM me the price and place you got it?

Same for me. Before I got it home I didn't think they would be that similar in size. To me, most Sigs look a little bigger than they actually are.

The trigger is nice on it. A little takeup, REALLY nice and crisp break and it feels like it's got zero over-travel.

Very nice Sig! I was able to watch the sig rep at the nra show change grip modules on the 320 in less than a minute. Very versatile gun. Edited by hlb14

How does it compare to the VP9?

I've not shot the Sig yet so I can't compare the two in that dept. I fell in love with the VP9 the 1st time I put my hands on one so I might be a little biased, especially since I haven't shot the 320 yet. The Sig feels like a Sig..tall and a little blocky. That's not a bad thing, just a Sig thing LOL. The VP9 definitely feels better in my hand, great ergos. The texture on the 320s grip wins though. Both have great triggers. Dry firing both, the 320s trigger might be a little heavier but I think the break is a little better. The HK is one of my more accurate pistols and from what I've read and seen I'd say the Sig will be a shooter too. I'm really looking forward to getting it to the range. I've shot Sigs but never owned any (other than the P238 & P938) so I'm really interested to see how I'm gonna like it.

I absolutely LOVE my 320. Every time I take it to the range I spend most of my time shooting it. I like just as much as any of my other sigs, and the price was great.

My range time with the 320 will have to wait a while unfortunately. Got a call that my mom had to have an ambulance called for her and was admitted at the hospital. I drove up to WV this afternoon and will be here for a few days at least.

P320 you say? I've got a couple! The modularity of these pistols is amazing.

Well...I typed out half a page on my range trip with the 320 but it gots lost. Sucked into a black hole somewhere in the interwebs.

I liked it. Great trigger, as good if not better than my VP9 and my buddy's PPQ. The break is nice, crisp and no over travel. Good reset too. The VP9 definitely feels better in my hand. The Sig naturally aims half a dot low for me. Took a mag for me to get that through my head. First groups at 10 yds were pretty good. By the 3rd mag they were tightening up nicely. Its gonna be a keeper I do believe but I do need to shoot it a little more.
