Black Ops 2

I started playing xbox two months ago and have found myself playing Black Ops live and really enjoying it. I've never been in to playing video games much, but after playing with a couple of friend I'm now hooked. The worst part is listening to all the other players in the lobby talk trash. If they are the future of the country we might be in trouble. I use some bad language and these people put me to shame.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm for kids today. Movies, games and music people all contribute to the fowl-mouthed flood that seems to be everywhere.

You sound like a liberal with that comment. They also claim guns in movies and games cause violence. Fortunately, study after study shows that is not the case. Popular culture is a reflection of society, it doesn't drive it.

Liberal?? I don't understand that.

Moral of the story, don't fucking cuss, because a dirty fucking mouth is a sign that someone is a bad fucking person.

Anything but liberal. lol If that the way you interpret it, but that's not what I meant.

Saying music, movies, video games, etc causes such things, makes you sound like a liberal cause that is the same thing they say with no facts.

Most media, especially entertainment,  is a form of propaganda. Music, movies, video games, etc all normalize attitudes. It's called persuasion. This doesn't mean a movie or video game is going to turn everyone into killers, but it is having a psychological effect in some capacity.

yeah there is a lot a little $#hit talking punks on xbox live. What I love is when there are talking all that crap and cussing every third word and you hear their parents come in the room and they forget to mute their mic. Always be mindful of whether that mic is muted or not!

Party Chat

That's right. It only sucks when your party is two or three other people, so half your team is essentially cut off from communication unless you invite them to party chat and they accept the invite.

Party Chat is all I really do. If no friends are on, I turn the game volume up. Also tired of the nonsense.

Gotta love the irate voice and text messages when you don't listen to the self appointed commander.

Call of Duty(and similar) did for guns what Guitar Hero did for kids playing guitar. It sparked an interest in youngins who wouldn't normally have been exposed to such things.

Nothing I like better than being cussed and threatened by kids on X-box live. I usually let them go on for a couple of matches then tell them "I'll meet you anywhere anytime and show you how your mom likes it!" Generally that really gets them going. Almost as much fun as playing the game.

There is a lot less of that kind of thing on the PC version, fortunately. It's not totally gone mind you, but it's better than the consoles.

Black Ops 3 is coming in November, looks really nice. They've had three years on this one.

Back when I was playing Call of Duty on the PS3, I would spend my time in the lobby turning off the audio for anyone that was speaking. I could take only so much F-Bombs and P**** name calls, I'd rather not hear anyone talk. Mostly it came from adolescents who thought it was cool, and would be grounded if their mom heard them talk that way.
