Quad rail not aligning with upper receiver

Just because the retaining screw is included does not mean you HAVE to use it. The jam nut is more than enough to hold everything in place.

You guys had me confused with the retaining screw. I never use it on mine and most of the ones I have installed never even had one. Nordic rails are the ones I use most and they do not have the retaining screw. Edited by Dolomite_supafly

I guess I would refer to the screws as anti- rotation screws and not retaining screws. The Nordic rail is a good solid piece for not much money, were $75 at midway a few weeks ago.
