Need to borrow an appliance dolly!

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

We're having to move everything into storage from our current house and would like to borrow a dolly this weekend to get the last big things...refrigerator, washer, and dryer. If anyone has one to borrow for a few hours this weekend that would be great. I'm in Smyrna but can meet elsewhere to pick up. Our new house won't be ready till mid-June so we've got a couple of months of staying with my MIL. Thanks in advance.

I have a box dolly, appliance dolly, and a few 4-wheel dollies. I work near Elm Hill Pike and Briley Parkway. If you can swing by to get them and bring them back when you're done, let me know which day is best for you. I work Monday through Thursday, 7am-5pm.

If TDR's offer doesn't work out, you might consider using some appliance lifting straps.    They aren't that expensive and that's what many appliance delivery guys use now anyway.    I believe it cuts down on the damage to the appliances especially if stairs are involved.   Due to the design, they make lifting the appliances not that hard.
