Just picked up mine today. If I can find a trigger gauge, then I'll post it.

Update: it wasn't hard to find apparently. If I measure it from the bottom of the trigger, then it measures 5-9/16 lb. From closer to the top, it hit almost 7-1/2. I haven't gotten to fire it yet, but the previous one I shot was extremely enjoyable. Edited by zybysco

I'll stick with a Glock 19. Zero reason IMHO to get to something thats just a TAD smaller and holds way less rounds.

Glock 19s rock, but they aren't in the same class size at all. Tad smaller? I guess that is a relative term. It is significantly smaller when it comes to pocket or iwb.

It's much thinner then the G-19 which makes it feel significantly different and can impact upon carry comfort. FWIW the G-19 is in a class of its on where I see the G-43 as augmenting, not replacing. In the end its always going to be apples and oranges though, expensive ones though I'd say.

I'm sorry but I really wouldn't call the G43 a pocket gun. I agree with the others, I'll stick with the G19.

Nope the G-43 isn't what I'd call a pocket gun, but folks have been pocket carrying Shields so whatever.

Everyone's got their own cup of tea. Whatever works best for that person, I say more power to you.

Fwiw: I played with a g43 recently and just didn't see any personal benefit to it. That's how I judged my opinion in my earlier post.

The way I see it is that all these little single stack polymer 9s carried out of the pocket are for the people who want to carry a gun but it have as little impact on them as possible. Not the people who dress around their gun for whatever reason. Sometimes we aren't able to, wearing a suit, business clothes, non permissive environment, etc. Edited by nightrunner

Other than that, it's a Glock 9mm, which is about as boring as it gets. They all look and work the same, and they all go bang reliably. There's just not room for any big news until the libtards develop a smart gun that works.

I have owned a high capacity 9mm service pistol since the late '70's. The thing still works. It's about the same size as my G19, and weighs a few ounces more but I wouldn't be afraid to carry it. Both are Browning knockoffs :). Ain't nothing new except the paint job :)

Or electrically primed or careless ammunition, but I'd say all three are a long ways off still.

i will say this about it, for carry comfort it is by far my favorite. i will be carrying this gun for a long time to come. i like what someone said about comfort with business clothes because i dress business casual everyday and it is just simply put... functional more so than any other gun i have carried including my beloved Kahr.
