Sarh Palin Cancels her NRA Appearance Today

If you look at the NRA-ILA website regarding the meeting at 1 PM today, Sarah Palin's photo is no longer shown and her name has been removed from the speakers.  Here is a little blurb I found on the internet, but it does not give any reasons:

We're still going...there are a lot of speakers I want to see (and the exhibits) but I really did want to see Sarah.

I heard an interview with a NRA spokesman on the radio yesterday.  He said that she had a prior commitment at an outdoor show in Wisconsin and could not arrange transportation in time to make the Nashville event.

I would be really pissed if I had purchased tickets to see that, and then she cancelled. She knew enough about her schedule and travel times in advance when she agreed to appear, so it's not like Nashville got up and moved further away in the middle of the night. I always liked her and would have considered her a major reason to attend that session. Unfortunately I'm traveling so had to miss this meeting. Edited April 10, 2015 by wileecoyote
