Not sure what to do at the NRA show?

The NRA did a great job with their website for the show.  Here's the link:

http://www.nraam.org/

There are tabs across the top that take you to everything.

Also, it's buried down in the site, though this link has some awesome seminars, most of which are free:

Make sure to check out the special events tab.

I tried understanding the layout, events, and fees but I feel lost. So if you just want to go look around the booths and vendors it's free right? Even if your aren't an NRA member? But if you go to certain events or the concert you must pay? ISome of the seminars seem like good topics but I'm mainlywanting to just go look at the stuff see what is there.

Not absolutely positive...but I believe you need to be an NRA member to attend.

Can someone else add to this?

Download the smartphone app. It has map layouts, booth locations and workshop times. You can setup your own agenda. Edited by D3vo

I think hearing Nugent in person would be interesting. I find out they let LE in free to the exhibit hall. But I'm joining anyway. Been putting it off for too long.

Thanks for your community service and joining the NRA.

You must be a member to enter (or a househould member). It's free admission with membership.

That gets you access to the exhibit hall, the airgun range, the NRA store, wall of guns, and most of the seminars. The seminars listed here are all free. http://www.nraam.org/special-events/seminars,-workshops-special-presentations.aspx

The Friday night concert with Hank Jr. is free and open to the public and will be outside on Broadway.

The music stage outside at 5th and Demonbreun is also free.

The paid ticketed events are the dinners, prayer breakfasts, NRA-ILA seminar with the GOP presidential hopefuls, the Alan Jackson/Jeff Foxworthy show Saturday at Bridgestone, and certain other seminars like the one for attorneys.

+1 to the app for planning out your seminars.

Or pay a $25 registration fee if I am correct...

There's a $10 membership on their website. May be too late to do that now though.

I'm downloading it as I type. Hopefully it'll help us out while trying to get around at the show. I'm so excited about going!

I knew I saw that somewhere, I had typed $10 but then went looking for proof and could not find it so I edited my post back to $25.
