Other than the manufacturer/vendor booths and hopefully collecting a sack full of promo loot, I'm looking forward to the NRA-ILA meeting (need a $10 ticket). I'm sure it will be GOP Presidential hopefuls telling us what we want to hear, but maybe it will help me know who I may support and who I definitely won't support.

I'm definitely looking forward to checking out our own Jeff Meister's display of 1911s. Many of you remember him from his Hero 1911s. He's been in Texas for the last couple of years working on starting up the Republc Forge. Everything I've seen has been gorgeous.

He's going to be in #1063.

I really can't offer any suggestions that will influence what anyone else would do. I'm more concerned with those vendors with products I'm searching for or interested in finding more about. So it's all an "about me" experience as I see it.

My time is possibly going to be somewhat restricted, so I'm going in with a wanna see, a hope to see, and if I have time list.

I'm very sure it will all work out as I intend. Riiiigggghhhttt.

Do the "Wall of Guns" raffles. For $20 you get a 100-1 chance to win 1 or 2 guns. I won 2 in St. Louis about 4 years ago.

How many tickets did you buy to get lucky enough to win 2?  :D

Only bought 1 ticket. You get to pick from 1 "higher value" tier of guns or 2 from a lower value tier of guns. I took the latter route.

I always look forward to the FN booth.

Also, always go by the Glock booth to see Michelle Viscusi and Tori Nanaka.

Has anyone found a diagram of where the vendors and reps will be located on the floor?

Posted

Agreed. I've been half thinking of carrying a digital copy to Prographics and having them make me a 24"x36" version like a treasure map to hike the convention floor with. Lol

Good idea!

these gun companys are no dummies, they have some really good looking female ambassadors

Glocks Tori  is a great example...looks like i will have my day filled looking for photo ops !

It is. NRA 2015 is the app name. It lists all seminars which you can add to your "Agenda". There's a map of the exhibit hall with all vendors shown.

Knife Rights booth (706 beside KaBar) with the display of some of the knives in the Ultimate Steel raffle? Killer deal for folks to sign up and buy a ticket for a chance to win custom knives and expensive production pieces (and some firearms).

I'll be there most of the convention helping out and encourage everyone to drop by considering the good work KR did for TN in getting the archaic laws removed about knives in this state.
