March 2015, I will never forget and never want to repeat.

I haven't said anything but last month was a very rough month for my wife and I.

We went from extreme joy to heart break in a few days.

We are both on the road to recovery and this weekend I am taking her to the place I purposed to her a little over 12 years ago.

We both need some away and togetherness time as we move forward.

I know for a couple weeks I have held in allot of my feelings in trying to be strong for her, although I do try to find some time for myself as I know it is not good to bottle it all up in side.

I am going out of my way to make sure she has anything she needs, anyone she needs to talk with, giving her ideas,  I am there and supporting her 100 percent.

We have only been married 12 years this April 19th, however we have been together since we met in the cafeteria at LMU the second week of class in August of 96 at Supper time.

( I actually met her dad the week before on move in day by pure accident offering to help but he told me they had already finished.  He doesn't remember me, but I clearly remember him in the parking lot that day.  I didn't see Tracy until about a week later.).  I was a senior as she came in as a freshman.

I am taking her to the place I purposed to her on Jan 1, 2003.  ( really hope I got the date right on that, I am a man after all.)

Typing this out, believe it or not has helped.

Not asking for anything, but if you are a religious person, we are both Christians, perhaps backside some.  Any prayers would be appreciated.

I just noticed reading back over, that I said only 12 years.  At this point 'only' is certainly the correct word as it certainly doesn't feel like it has been 12 years.  We really do complete each other.

May you and your wife find hidden blessings from the troubles that you had last month.

Proverbs 19:14 House and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your wife.

For better or worse... the "worse" can really suck sometimes.  Hang in there.

Ain't that the truth. I've been married 5 1/2 years now and looking back just 3-4 years ago I'm amazed at how much we have grown as a couple and individuals. I guess it's all a journey and not a destination. Best of luck to ya'll.

My wife and recently had a miscarriage. it pretty much felt just as you described. If that's what you are going through, I know the feeling. Whatever the case though, You and your wife have been in my prayers. I'm sorry yall are having a rough time but it sounds like yall have eachother to lean on. Take care.
