You are going to love that Underwood stuff! It will perform better out of the 20 but make a nice fireball in the 29

I still have to figure out a way to be allowed to buy more HG's. After we finished the AR, monkey said I think you're set for a while. :( I still want/need a rock island 1911 in 10mm and the LGS has a Dan Wesson that feels amazing. I gonna use the amount of ammo we have to justify more guns. Think that'll work? LOL

Just "accidently" buy a different caliber and replacement parts for a RIA 10mm and say "since we already have the parts..."

Im at the end point now since I almost have too many calibers to reload for in volume. I was going to buy that Glock 41 from Stonewall but the wife is letting (making) me get a Dillon 650 instead lol

See, we don't do that. Everything is 10mm, .45, 556, 308. With the exception of 1 9mm and 1 380. That way when we buy, we're buying for just a few types. Makes it easier. My LGS still tries to convince me to branch out, but honestly, it's a matter of just liking .45 and 10mm.

We have an assload of 9mm, then 45, 10mm, 357Sig and 5.56 - which is not too much but we'd like to get into other rifle calibers like 50 Beowulf and 308 but that would almost break the bank

Trust me, I understand, 2 Glocks, finishing the TGO AR build and then 4 ammo orders. I 1,000% understand. But that doesn't mean you can't still dream. Or borrow my Sequoia. Remember, it self drives to LGS!

One day when I get out of the damn Army and can work a real, regular 9-5 and not deal with unfathomable stupidity then I can get more.

Granted with a kid on the way I also need to look towards downsizing a bit

We don't have kids. That's why we do what we do. We do however have 7 dogs so that explains a lot too. LOL

Meh, just ordered from sgammo and midway and both have me delivery dates before freedom.

Freedom ammo is made in Idaho and I want to say ships from Oregon ,,,,where Midway usually ships from Missouri..  sgammo ships from Oklahoma. for me in the Memphis area freedom usually takes a week.   I will warn you...every time I have ordered from Freedom in the fall winter or spring time.  It has always been delayed in route due to a snow storm coming across the west or mid west.  Not Freedoms fault, and I guess not UPS's either but one time the reason for being delayed was first weather then they actually put on the tracking note   LOST TRAILER ...then misplaced trailer. Took UPS a week to find the trailer!

I'm very impatient when it comes to things I want. Which is why I shouldn't ever order online. It's why I love Amazon Prime. It's why Underwood Impressed me so much! Freedom is coming from Washington state, so I get it. And it was free shipping so of course it will be way slower. My fault. I should have upgraded. And learning a little patience wouldn't kill me.

So, the order got here yesterday. I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not doing better research. I didn't realize it was an actual brand. So when I clicked on the links ordering Hornady XTP, I thought I was purchasing actual Hornady product. Ouch. I'm not going to complain about having a few weird things around, but I will for sure do more digging next time before ordering such big amounts. If worse comes to worse it'll be ok target ammo.

Pretty much they gotcha for more expensive remanufactured rounds.

The same company that owns them owns XTreme Bullets - so their "regular" stuff is xtreme bullets loaded into range brass they get on their brass trade in program.

Hope it doesnt give you a buttload of FTFs and squibs like it did me.

On of my FB friends had a family member of his get his hand blown up but a FM .40...granted thats what he gets for shooting 40, but if they make Jihadi 40 theyll make Jihadi anything lol. Ymmv

I didn't buy the reloads. I bought "new" as labeled on the box. We'll see. F a duck man. I could kick myself. However, I'm really gonna try to be positive here and hope they work great. Otherwise I pissed a lot of money away on 3k rounds.

Having been in the reloading/remanufactured vs new factory ammo game for awhile, I knew what I was buying when I bought FM 10MM. (Hornady doesn't manufacture any 50rd boxes of pistol ammo is a big tell.) I only purchase new, not reman as well. I went through 500 of the XTP loaded FM 10MM and it was all fine. Also, it was all loaded in Starline brass which is great stuff for reloading. I'm a happy camper and won't hesitate to get more in the future.

My 10MMs throw brass REALLY far (even with 23 lb recoil springs) so I always lose a lot at the range. At an indoor range, I'd say 25-30% ends up forward of the firing line so I lose that. At an outdoor range, I probably lose even more. I'm not gunna spend an hour combing grass for brass after 10 minutes of shooting. I pick up what I easily see and cut my losses.

I didn't see 50/box because I ordered it by qty (1,000). If I had seen it, I would have not bought it. Or at least done more research! It's totally my fault! I just didn't pay attention. But here's to positive thinking that all will be well! And like I said, it can always be target rounds of need be!

I think you'll be pleased with the FM rounds based on my experience and several friends and family. Granted it hasn't been with 10mm. Mainly 9mm, 45 ACP, and .223.

Well that makes me feel slightly better! I did order 2 of the 3 you mentioned! :)

The new manufacture XTP stuff from Freedom should be quite comparable to the XTP loads from Hornady. Same bullet, comparable powder load with bout same claimed velocity.

I've had no trouble with Freedom's reloaded stuff. I see them about the same as Georgia Arms' Canned Heat, have shot a lot of that too.  Georgia Arms also offers new manufacture stuff with Speer's latest highfalutin SD bullet, a similar type deal to Freedom's Hornady bullet, and I've shot some of that too, and have some stashed besides.

I'd posit the higher end stuff you got from Freedom is going to be just as reliable and effective, and worth what you paid.

edit: btw, Freedom has 5% off with free shipping for today's Cyber Monday. The cheaper stuff pretty well picked over already, but I did get 500 rounds of new .223 soft point, been meaning to score some for my AR pistol configs after all the Russian plants seem to have quit making it.

Good lord no! If only you knew what we ordered. Sweet mother, our new house is big but not that big! Plus the Monkey is working on his 308 build so really, we need ammo for that. I think we're set on everything else... For a while at least! ;)
