67-year-old 5th-generation Mississippian, son of a rambling construction worker. Grew up in numerous towns in Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee (Smithville, McMinnville and Camden). Have lived in Memphis area since 1968 when I married. Three children / 4 grandchildren. Now semi-retired and live in Shelby Forest area. Like coon hunting, fishing, gardening, cold beer, twist chewing tobacco and college football/baseball. Keep a 1911 .45 by the bed and in the truck. Carry a 1911-style ,380.

See, Memphis IS nice. 

Hmmm not going to make my first post an argument.

So I'll just say howdy and let that one slide.

 

I am located in the most southwest portion of Tennessee too.
