Maybe through the EBT cards?

I always wondered why they have that mountain built out of junk food as you enter the store. Glad to know all those Bugles,Nutty Bars, and Pringle cans mean something to someone :)

I hate carrying around those stupid reward cards on my keychain. I started using the Google Wallet App on my phone. You can scan each of your cards into the app, and then at the checkout you just let the clerk scan the barcode it generates on the phone screen. If you turn on location services, it will even figure out which store you just walked in to and have that card ready for you when you open your phone at the register. You don't have to open a Google Wallet account to use the app, and there are other companies that make similar apps if you don't want to use Google. I think there is even one built into Apple Pay.

We like to buy gift cards from Kroger to other places that we use frequently. I knew I was going to spend some money at Home Depot, so I bought a $500 gift card, and got the advertised 2x fuel points. We do that all the time with other things too, like restaurants, movies, Amazon, etc. When we have enough fuel points, and the wife and I coordinate empty gas tanks, we meet at the Kroger gas station and fill up both cars on the one pump. I think the other day we bought gas for something like $0.93 / Gal. If we see they are doing 4x fuel points, we'll stock up on gift cards to the places / services we use a lot.

BTW, the Google Wallet App can store those gift cards too. It's not smart enough to update the balance, you have to do that manually reading the balance from your receipt, but it is convenient to not have to carry around the card, or remember to bring it along.
