Renew HCP without the form they sent ?

My HCP expires an 6 weeks or so, I did receive a form but where it went I don't know, truck flipped then basement flooded and everything that was in my office is now in a POD in my yard.

Does anyone know if I can just go to the Drivers License Service Center for renewal, show my HCP and fill out a new form ?

Thanks

Thanks, I saw that and will call in the AM.  I'm concerned with the timeline from call for application and receiving it.  What I really want to know is if Blank applications are available at the DL Service stations.

Thanks

I just go to the Driving center and renew mine. You can do it up to 6 months before it expires.

Paying for my permit was the last thing I got done before my debit card got hit the 1st time......talk about getting lucky!

As long as you apply for renewal before the expiration date, you can still carry even if it expires before new one is issued. Just need old permit and receipt showing you've applied for renewal.

I went to Murfreesboro DMV on the 9th of this month to fill out a renewal for in person. Got it in the mail today. Pretty fast turnaround

This. I don't think you even need the old permit. When I lost my permit I was told the receipt is good enough for carry.

I have no doubt you were told that, but the law says you must also have the expired permit with you.
